COMPUTER INSTALLATIONS RELOCATIONS

Computers installations moving relocations networks, companies lack the necessary resources to effectively plan and move their entire network infrastructure from one location to another. Often times, this is the first time they have ever had to deal with such a chore. Their challenges are further compounded by the demand that "there be no downtime." This can put a lot a pressure on an already harried staff.

In response to this problem, Just Results! has developed the Technology Moving Program .

H2E has a proven system, it helps take the guesswork out of this challenging process. It alleviates much of the stress, errors and costs associated with moving your technology assets.

By using the Technology Moving Program you can count on:

  1. Having a senior technical consultant involved in the entire process.
  2. Being guided through a detailed checklist to insure that nothing is overlooked.
  3. Receiving a written plan, budget and time schedule.
  4. Having a technician onsite the first morning you "go live".

As a full service consulting firm, Just Results! has a broad range of skills to successfully execute your next move.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Here is a brief overview of how to start and what to expect.

1. Determine Your Needs And Visit The New Site
We have made it easy to get started. The first meeting has three primary objectives: determine your needs, analyze your current system and visit the new site. We ask questions like: Is there adequate cabling in the building or will it need to be installed? Will you be adding new workstations? Do the servers need to be upgraded? Can you use the same ISP? Are there new functions you want to add? How do we move the system and minimize downtime?

2. Develop Detailed Moving Plan And Budget
The next step is to develop the actual moving plan. The plan is divided into sections: pre-move, day of the move and post-move. Each section contains a list of what needs to be done, by when and by whom. There is also a detailed budget so you know what this will cost you.

3. Coordinate Vendors And Ordering
This is a critical stage of the process. Nothing is worse than having everyone show up to work while the cabling still being completed. Since we deal with many of these vendors regularly, we can help insure they get their jobs done on time.

4. Oversee Physical Move
During this stage we make sure the equipment, particularly the servers, are shut down and packed correctly.

5. Setup And Thoroughly Test Your System
Once the equipment has been moved and placed in its final location, one of our technicians will set up and configure all your equipment.

6. Be Present On The First Day At The New Site
We always have a consultant onsite for as much time is needed on the first day to iron out any problems that may arise.

Before you begin you next move, give Just Results! a call and find out how we can help make your next move happen smoothly.

Prior to the actual movement of your computer systems, H2E Relocation Technicians will prepare your clients workstations for transit.

They will disconnect and document the individual workstation, setup
and "Bag & Tag" your systems, certifying to the movers that the systems have been shut down properly and are ready to move.

In addition to preparing the systems, we will also disconnect and pack the workstation's telephone and any adjacent hardware.

At destination, we will reassemble the systems as designated by your IT department and power up the system to test for connectivity.
We will also reconnect the workstation phones and test for functionality.

Our team of Technicians will fully disconnect and prepare all Computer, Printers, and associated equipment for transport ensuring all manufacturers shipping precautions are adhered to.

All keyboards, cables, and peripherals are disconnected and packed into sealed cable bags which are individually labeled and packed with the main system. This ensures that all component parts are kept together and easily identified.

All equipment is packaged in anti-static bags and depending on access and related conditions, the equipment is either packed into computer crates, hampers, or roll cages prior to relocation.

At the new location all Computer equipment & Printers will be reconnected ensuring all component parts are connected and functioning correctly.

Hardware and software changes required to integrate relocated systems at the new site can be checked and changed where necessary.

An agreed test procedure can be performed which might be as simple as a power up verification or could include checking network connectivity or application testing.

After the completion of the relocation, our lead Network Relocation Technician and Project Manager will walk through the facility with a member of your MIS department to ensure that all services were performed as outlined.

It is our mission to ensure the satisfaction of our clients both before, and after the relocation process.

As always our Technicians are available for "On Site" Tech Support whenever the need arises.
H2E Logistics fully appreciates the movement of computer equipment this forms an integral part of the removal plan as it is vital that the correct protection is provided.

At H2E Corporate Logistics we provide a total computer removal and installation service, including de-commissioning and re-commissioning in conjunction with your mainframe suppliers.

Items are individually packaged using antistatic materials and packed into specially designed computer moving boxes. This method is quicker and ensures all units are kept together thus avoiding any potential mix up on delivery.

Computer boxes are easy to handle and afford total protection, they can be moved round on and off site quickly and safely. Our vehicles are equipped with air-ride suspension to minimize any disturbance during transit.
