Installations
and Upgrades:
For a lot less than you think, you can have all the computers in your office connected to
the internet and sharing one printer. Whats
needed? A network card in each computer, some
cables and a hub to tie them together. A
little tweaking and your computers will be chatting at light speed. Share files, email, even set up limits so your
employees dont spend too much time browsing the web.
Virtual Private Network (VPN):
Have you ever wanted to add a computer at another location to the network in your
office? You could benefit from a VPN. Using DSL or even a satellite uplink, with a
VPN you can virtually extend the computer network in your office around the
world.
What is a VPN?
A VPN is a Virtual Private Network. Unlike a truly private network where you own the
wires all the way from point A to point B and nobody else can use them, in a VPN some part
of the path from A to B is a public network such as the Internet, a public telephone
system or even satellites. The VPN provider builds a "tunnel" through that
public system for your private data traffic.
